Amarone's spring version: Bardolino Chiaretto

We are in on the hills close to the shores of Lake Garda, west-south of the Valpolicella's Wine region and Cantina Castelnuovo del Garda this year released an outstanding Bardolino Chiaretto Rosé Superiore. The best cluster of Molinara, Corvina and Rondinella are choose to produce a “Ripasso” Rose. You may ask yourself: a “Ripasso Rosé”?
Those clusters are fermented with no skin contact then affination in cement vat until mid-January. Now when the fermentation for the Amarone production is done and the must is released, the winemaker flush trough those left-over Amarone skin the wine to produce a Bardolino Chiaretto Rose Superiore, that we can consider, no doubt, a spring version of Amarone. The wine will have a pink salmon color with an incredible fresh an minerality complexity.
