Impossible wine to have it almost every year!! Let’s begin from the winery:

Tenute del Garda is a group of wine producers located in Valtenesi, on the beautiful western shore of Lake Garda. The winery was founded a few years ago from Luca Martinelli (world best Sommelier 2013) Francesco Stagnoli (cellar manager) Alessio Bondinelli (enologist). The vineyards are located in different plots: Barcuzzi, Lucone e Storietta, Cantarane e Belvedere all near Garda Lake Riviera.

From those plots, with a very diverse terroir from each other’s, are produce Riesling , Groppello, Marzemino, Sangiovese, Barbera grapes.

Form Barcuzzi plot, only on the best vintage, the best Groppello clusters from the vines of Coste and Piazze parcels are choose to produce SottoSopra Vino Turbolento.

A Turbulent wine, produced according to the method Champenoise, without sulfur, age in on the sur lie at least 18-24 months. Sottosopra is unfiltered wine, in constant evolution, as the yeast of the second fermentation remain in the bottle give incredible note of bread crust, grapefruit with a pleasant perlage and acidity.
